Matthew Galin, Managing Director

Matt is a Managing Director at Madison West, where he focuses on partner and partner group recruitment and placements throughout the country. Matt believes in the importance of strong relationship building as the foundation for any professional success. For Matt, that means really listening to his candidates and understanding their perspective.

Before joining Madison West, Matt was a litigator in complex federal cases and class actions throughout the United States, representing both plaintiffs and defending in high stakes disputes, including arguing before the Georgia Supreme Court in 2017. Matt received his JD from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Matt also serves as a Trustee for the Village of Northfield, elected to a four-year term in 2021.
